Ford has been quick to willingly put their new 5.0-powered 2011 Mustang GT head to head with the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS and in this video, courtesy of Ford Motor Company; we get a good look at the two legendary pony cars roasting their tires side by side. Make sure that your volume is up as this video also gives you a great sample of what the 2011 Mustang GT will sound like at wide open throttle when it is smoking the tires.
As we head into May, many of those who purchased 2011 Mustangs as soon as they became available will begin taking delivery so in the next few weeks we should see the full scale invasion of the 5.0 upon the muscle car scene. I bet the greenies will love knowing that their only American company that's really pushing efficent cars was out smoking the tires off their rides. Pretty sweet.

That may be true Patrick, but I just can't wrap my mind around the styling of the mustang. It reminds me of the Mitsubishi Eclipse when they went through and redesigined it. Screams chick car to me...
Even most of the mustangs you see in my area aren't driven by guys either. Great if you're chaing tail, but jeez. It just doesn't have the muscle car look to it like it should.
Well, there is a huge amount of people that would disagree with you Chris. never heard a 420hp monster been called a girls car before...interesting opinion i guess
