2011 Empire State Book Festival comes back to Albany

The New York Library Association is sponsoring the second Empire State Book Festivalin Albany, NY on April 1-2. Authors, illustrators, librarians, storytellers, publishers and booklovers will meet at the Empire State Convention Center and share readings, author signings and special presentations. Adult, children’s and young adult authors will participate in the festival.

This year the festival will have two keynote speakers: singer and author Roseanne Cash and children’s author Ann M. Martin. Martin created the Babysitter’s Club series in 1986, resulting in the publication of 250 titles 15 years later.
