2011 Emmy Awards: Is Charlie Sheen Still Winning?

By: Angelique Lachelle, www.angeliquelachelle.com

Most of us are aware of the chaos Charlie Sheen caused after being fired from “Two and-a-Half Men earlier this year. Matter of fact the word “Winning” became the most popular word throughout the U.S. for at least 3+ months.

Well it seems as if Sheen has had a change of heart. The star went from calling co-workers turncoats, maggots, traitors, and trolls to saying some pretty kind words at the Emmy’s:

“I would like to take a moment to get something off my chest and say a few words to everyone here from ‘Two and-a-Half Men.’ From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight (8) wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television, said Sheen.”

I believe the audience was relieved at the fact that Sheen didn’t bring his sarcasm to the award show, and I can only imagine how many people were elated to remove their index fingers from their ears, exhale, and actually use their hands to applaud the Hollywood star.

Sheen also announced that there is no bad blood between him and his replacement Ashton Kutcher. However, I wonder what the ‘Tiger Blood’ in him is thinking?

Could this be the smartest move Sheen has made since this whole Two and-a-Half Men drama or is Sheen ‘WINNING’ his way back into the public eye as a sane human being?
