The Chrysler 300 has been a powerhouse for the Chrysler brand, and a major part of the brands revival over the past 5 years but the product line had grown stales and sales flattened. However, thanks to the 2011 Detroit Auto Show debut of the 2011 Chrysler 300 and 300C, the luxury brand of the Chrysler Group looks to undo that staleness with an improved interior, a beautifully refined exterior and a shiny new base model 3.6L engine.
As you can see in the gallery to the left, the 2011 Chrysler 300 does not depart from the overall styling that has made it so popular over the past few years. It still has a wide, muscular stance but the new front and rear fascia combined with a variety of new chrome trim pieces give the car a heightened sense of luxury. Inside, Chrysler has improved the level of quality with tighter clearances from the dash to the door panels and softer, more luxurious materials improve the comfort of the 2011 300. Finally, the 2011 Chrysler 300 is powered by the tried and true 5.7L Hemi V8 and new for 2011, the new Pentastar 3.6L V6 offers 292hp – an improvement of 42hp over the outgoing V6 option.
