Sparkles and metallic glam sure do appear to be the red carpet theme at tonight's 2011 American Music Awards (2011 AMAs).
From Jennifer Hudson's silver sizzler to Audrina Patridge's old Hollywood glam style and Sarah Hyland's edgy, metallic style, the red carpet looked like a sea of minis. That's about to take a sexy turn with the arrivals of Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
First up is Taylor Swift who showed us why she always makes the best dressed list. The elegant entertainer rocked the red carpet in a strapless, sequined, full-length gold Reem Acra gown. Taylor changed up her red carpet style a bit with some dazzling gem earrings. She kept her hair chic and simple with a sleek side ponytail.
As always, the talented singer is nominated for several awards, including the coveted Artist of the Year, as well as Favorite Country Album and Favorite Country Female Artist awards. We're betting Taylor will win big tonight.

Next up is Selena Gomez, who turned up the red carpet heat several notches with a sexy Giorgio Armani satin gown and metallic heels. From its deep-v neck to the flirty thigh slit to the backless style, Selena's gown and hairstyle channeled her inner old Hollywood glamor siren. At her side was her favorite entertainer, Justin Bieber.
