 The 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STi special edition is going to be a sports car for the avid Subaru enthusiast. This Impreza WRX STi is limited edition to just 125 being produced initially. Later it will become production and offer a full range of color choices. For now, a unique white color named "Aspen White" will be the special edition's color of choice. We all know that the USA is thirsty for pure JDM goodness. This special edition STi will conquer that thirst with savory upgraded suspension directly from the factory. An almost direct JDM replica, the only difference will be emissions equipment such as TGV valves, catalytic converters, and a more eco-friendly tune. Taking after the JDM Spec C model, this special edition Impreza comes with a thicker rear stabilizer bar (+1mm), stiffer front springs (16%) and stiffer rear shocks (10%), plus more hard core bushings to take track punishment. Upgraded wheels will compliment the suspension upgrades by making use of authentic JDM 18x8.5 inch featuring Dunlop SP600 (245/40/R18)high performance tires. The engine will be the same as the standard STi, a turbocharged four cylinder boxer 2.5 liter EJ255 engine mated to the bullet proof STi six speed transmission. This drive train will the traditional Subaru symmetrical all-wheel drive (duh) featuring the "Driver Controlled Center Differential" we've all grown to love.

The interior will feature a stripped down version aimed directly at track enthusiasts. You won't find extensive amounts of leather, heavy electronics, or other frills commonly desired. This STi is bred strictly for track presence with a single disc CD player, cloth interior, and very basic electronic HVAC and window controls. No HID bulbs either, halogen is lighter weight due to less electronics. Heavy ballasts are replaced by simple 12 v DC variable ground wiring commonly found in older models. Overall, this is a track beast waiting to be unleashed. I can't wait to see one modified! A nice upgrade for this vehicle would be a quick open source ECU tune, turbo back exhaust, and K&N air filter to push it easily past 350 wheel horsepower. Add a TGV delete, up pipe, methanol or water injection, and remove all the catalytic converters for a quick 400 awhp. It's that easy!
