With the new year comes a new season of spring colors that will inspire, excite and stimulate the senses after a cold winter season. According to renowned color expert Pantone, Inc., there will be an array of colors for spring, from splashes of sunshine to nuanced neutrals.

Pantone’s report lists the top ten colors, which include vibrant brights, tranquil blues and greens, and new neutrals that will complement your existing wardrobe.

“Now more than ever, women are vigilant when it comes to spending,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.”

“Instead of reinventing their wardrobe at the start of each season, consumers want pieces to complement what they already own. Pairing a bold color with a basic piece or freshening up their look with bright accents addresses the need to practicality, as well as fun.”

Be on the look out for these new spring colors on your next shopping spree:

Turquoise
This luminous hue was selected as color of the year for 2010. Turquoise evokes thoughts of soothing tropical waters at a Caribbean resort.

Pink Champagne
If you prefer to play it safe, Pink Champagne is your color  Make a signature look, by pairing  the new neutral with a seasonal bright.

Amparo Blue
Brighter than its sister Navy, Amparo Blue makes a splashing appearance in this season’s nautical trend.

Fusion Coral
Energetic Fusion Coral warms up the palette and will look great alone or mixed with a neutral.
