2010 Resolution Number One: Spend more time with family and friends

What your dog wants from you more than the new toy or box of treats, is to spend time with you. Is your dog relegated to the back yard because he is out of control in the house?

Resolve to spend the time to teach your dog the basic manners necessary for him to live as part of your family in the house.

This can be accomplished very simply: never allow your dog the opportunity to do the wrong thing but set up the environment so the dog learns the correct responses.

If you need help, enroll in a good obedience class or arrange for in-home lessons.
