2010 Point Series race begins at FMX la Frontera MX Park April 25th

The 2010 Point Series begins on Sunday, April 25th, FMX la Frontera MX Park at 5461 O’Leary Road in El Paso. Gates open at 6 am Sunday, with registration from 6 - 8 am, and a short practice beginning again at 8 am on Sunday. Fees are $25 per class, $35 for pro classes. Sunday practice is included in the race fees. The Practice schedule, beginning at 8:00am, is Big Quads, Big Bikes, Small Bikes, and Minis. Riders may sign up all day Saturday, and from 6-8 am Sunday. Sign-up will close 15 minutes before practice ends; the races will start right after practice. This will be followed by a short riders’ meeting. Admission for spectators is $5 at the gate. The concession stand will have bagels, burritos, hamburgers, hot dogs, Frito pies, and nachos. Water, juice, and energy and soft drinks will also be available.


Saturday, April 24th is a practice day and gates open at 10 am. To allow adequate time for track preparation after Saturday’s practice, the track will close at 3 pm. The practice fee for the day is $10 with early registration, $15 otherwise. See the FMX la Frontera Facebook page, or the web site for classes and schedules.

Sunday, August 15th, practice Saturday, August 14th, 10 am – 3 pm (Round 5)

Sunday, September 12th, practice Saturday, September 11th, 10 am – 3 pm (Round 6)

Sunday, October 10th, practice Saturday, October 9th, 10 am – 3 pm (Round 7)

Sunday, November 14th, practice Saturday, November 13th, 10 am – 3 pm (Round 8)


Open practice hours are 10 am to dusk Saturdays and Sundays; 2 pm to dusk Fridays; and 4 pm to dusk Tuesdays and Thursdays. Team practice slots are available, and the track offers a 10% military and law enforcement discount on monthly membership plans. Contact the management at (575) 635-1398 for more details.
