2010 Honda Accord Crosstour neatly fills a gap in the Honda lineup

The all-new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour will feature a versatile, upscale 5-passenger interior with an innovative rear storage area, a standard 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine and available four-wheel drive when it goes on sale on November 20, 2009. The Crosstour is a crossover SUV that has the same chassis as the Accord, is almost exactly the same size, and has a similar interior to the Accord sedan. The Crosstour even drives a lot like an Accord sedan.

Do not look too hard at the pictures. The 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour looks much better than any camera can capture. In person, the Accord Crosstour looks downright stylish. It is the second most stylish vehicle in Honda's lineup, next to the S2000 roadster.

The materials inside the cabin feel high quality and well made. Sit in the driver’s seat and any previous Honda owner will feel at home right down to the shape and feel of the steering wheel. Seating is leather with surprising few options because most amenities like the 360-watt sound system with an array of speakers, USB device and MP3 jack, to name a few, are standard. The touch points throughout the cabin are soft and the dash has a simple flow across it. The optional navigation system is the same as the one in the Accord. Instead of providing the ever-so-smudge-able touch screen, Honda opted to push the screen deep into the dash and have a single control knob, which is easy to use. Darrell Waltrip Honda in Franklin will have the first Crosstour arrive on the lot by November 19th!
