2010 Grammy Awards: Best Country Album nominees
•The Foundation, Zac Brown Band
•Twang, George Strait
•Fearless, Taylor Swift
•Defying Gravity, Keith Urban
•Call Me Crazy, Lee Ann Womack
Taylor Swift has eight Grammy nominations, so surely her winning Country Album of the Year is a slam dunk, right? Not so fast.
Best Country Album is an award that often doesn't go to the biggest commercial success. Shania Twain, for instance, claimed this award in 1995 and never won it again, even at the height of her worldwide success.
George Strait has a good shot to knock off Swift. He's always been an industry favorite and he won this award last year for Troubadour. Keith Urban and Lee Ann Womack are two of country music's best singers and could challenge Swift as well, but both have released more successful albums in the past than their current nominated efforts.
A dark horse here is the Zac Brown Band, whose The Foundation produced three big hits. They're also a group to watch in the Best New Artist category.
Despite solid competition for Taylor Swift, the prediction here is that Swift takes the award for Fearless.

Not my genre. I'll trust your analysis.
Yeah my guess is Taylor will win this since she won everything else. I love George Strait though..I hated country music until the first time I heard "All my ex's live in Texas" :)
LOL at Sherri. That song is funny!
