2010 Disc golf season gets underway

The 2010 disc golf season gets started this weekend in Las Vegas Nevada. The tournament is the Gentlemen’s club challenge, being played in Sunset Park in Las Vegas Nevada.

Most of the top pros will be playing in this tournament, men and women. There are even a few local Minnesotans playing in the tournament including one of the top pro’s Cale Leiviska from St Paul Mn, Gregg Anderson from St Joseph Mn, and Mike Gerads from St Cloud Mn.

The course Sunset Park is located on Sunset road in Vegas. The course is rated a 3 of possible 5 on the DG course review website. The reviews say the course is flat with some trees. Most of the reviews say the course is not very challenging, but I’m sure they will put in mando’s and O.B. areas to make it harder for the pro’s.

The tournament is Friday Feb 26, 27, and 28th, with one round each day.

    Sunset Park would rate 5 out of 5 on the DG course review website for the pros layout for sure.
