2009 Tribeca Film Festival beginnings

During AMC's nine days of shooting at the Tribeca Film Festival they heard amazing filmmaking accounts from Danny Glover, Evan Rachel Wood, Woody Allen, Julianna Margulies, Larry David, Libby Spears, Andy Garcia, Mandy Stein, Matthew Broderick, Eric Bana, Patricia Clarkson, and Barry Levinson... all of whom have films screening in this year's festival.
Each shared with AMC their moments of inspiration, passion, and risk-taking that is common of independent filmmaking.

The Heineken Audience Award - is in the your award category or rather the people's choice award - the New York City comedy City Island took first!
Congratulatious to director Raymond De Felitta and his talented cast and crew, who also won a $25,000 prize from Heineken. Second Place went to the TFF 2009 Best Documentary Feature Racing Dreams, and coming up in Third Place is the laugh-out-loud Midgets Vs. Mascots.~ Tribeca Film Guide ~ These were all held at special screenings.
All winning films will screen at the AMC Village VII on Sunday, May 3. ~ It's a wrap! Make it a marathon!
