2009 Trends for bridesmaids dresses

09a(1).jpg

The stylish new silhouette for 2009 bridesmaids dresses is short and sassy. No need for those long and frumpy gowns that weigh you down. For 2009, the hot new style is to bring the hemline up towards the knee and to keep the shape clean and simple. Colors for Spring include bold rich hues like emerald green, fuchsia pink, and deep blues and purples.

If your wedding is in the Fall, continue with the same sweet and simple styles, but add brighter tones to your selection. Colors such as coral and canary yellow bring an extra splash of excitement to your dresses without going overboard.

An issue that most brides come across is finding a style that compliment all of her different bridesmaid's' body shapes. The A-line silhouette is always flattering and can work for many different bodies. Hugging and contouring at the top and slightly flaring at the bottom gives the wearer an hourglass figure without looking extreme.

If you are in the New York City area on May 18-19, Jenny Yoo is having her Annual Spring Sample sale from 11am-7pm at 132 West 36th Street, 9th Floor where she will be having 40%-80% off of dresses, sweaters and accessories.
