The space shuttle Atlantis arrived safely Friday morning under beautiful skies at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. 7 astronauts delivered spare parts to the International Space Station for an 11 day mission. The crew enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal of smoked Turkey, green beans and cornbread before landing.
During this mission, Randy Bresnik, US astronaut had a six pound, thirteen ounce daughter born. This is the second time in US history when a baby was born while their father was in space. See the video below for the safe landing at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The buzz on this video is hot today because it landed this morning, and because one of the astronauts had a baby while on the mission, and many people want to make sure the space shuttle arrives safely.
