2009 Review in political nonsense part 3

Climategate: A political folly revealed to be a HOAX!
This is a 4-part series because political nonsense was RAMPANT in 2009!
Read part 1 here: PART 1
Read part 2 here: PART 2
The following is part 3:
4. The Stimulus Money ($787 billion) must be spent quickly and wisely! - According to Michael Steele at the RNC, “OMB Director Peter Orszag Said Stimulus Funds Must Be Spent Quickly And Wisely. “If we are to achieve the president‘s goal of creating or saving 3.5 million jobs through this legislation, we need to make sure the money goes out quickly and also wisely.” REALITY: as of August 2009, just 10% of the stimulus funds had been paid out. Unemployment had not reached double-digits…YET. Remember what the president said in his address on the economy 1/28/09? “And that is why I hope to sign an American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan into law in the next few weeks. Most of the money we‘re investing as part of this plan will get out the door immediately and go directly to job-creation, generating or saving three to four million new jobs.”
3. Global warming -Obama boldly proclaimed that the world has moved “one step closer” to a “strong operational agreement” on climate change at next month’s Copenhagen summit. Countries must “reach a strong operational agreement that will confront the threat of climate change while serving as a stepping-stone to a legally binding treaty,” he told a press conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Seems like a lot of people ignored the greatest international scandal in science exposed since Darwinian evolution 150 years ago, Obama doesn’t care that the scientists and scientific data behind the climate-change–green movement is all a FALSE…according to scientific data!  “White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs — echoing data destruction expert/energy czar Carol Browner — says Climate Gate has no bearing on Obama’s push for massive global warming taxes/intervention. The science is “settled.” Read more about Climate gate
2. The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize was a disaster of epic proportions. The Nobel peace committee has been criticized for awarding Obama the prize before he has any major accomplishments in international relations. A White House official said that it was not necessarily an award that Obama would have given himself. Norwegians are incensed over what they view as his shabby response to the prize by cutting short his visit. The White House cancelled many of the events peace prize laureates traditionally submit to, including a dinner with the Norwegian Nobel committee, a press conference, a television interview, appearances at a children's event promoting peace and a music concert, as well as a visit to an exhibition in his honor at the Nobel peace centre. Then there was the acceptance speech in which Obama said, “…I am the Commander-in-Chief of a nation in the midst of two wars. One of these wars is winding down. The other is a conflict that America did not seek; one in which we are joined by forty three other countries - including Norway - in an effort to defend ourselves and all nations from further attacks.” The full text of Obama’s acceptance speech:
Even Obama said it wasn't earned!
To recap: He didn’t earn it, he didn’t want it, his speech was contrary to the acceptance, the White House cancelled events relating to the acceptance, and he angered the nation who presented it to him. UNBELIEVABLE!
There had to be ONE political nightmare of 2009. There were many I didn’t mention in detail: Obama declaring a non-secular Christmas, Sonia Sotomayor’s selection to the Supreme Court,  Inspector General Gerald Walpin’s termination after following up on misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit group supported by Obama’s buddy, the president’s OPEN snub on Freedom of speech by banning FOX news from fair coverage, Obama’s promise on October 27, 2007 to “bring the troops home as one of his first actions in the Oval Office…” ( proves he was NOT ready to become commander in chief 2 years ago), bi-partisanship (that the White House still manages to plunge itself into obscure congressional special elections in upstate New York and pulls out all the stops to get one governor re-elected), “No Lobbyists” (Leon Panetta, William Lynn, William Corr, Mark Patterson, Jocelyn Frye, and MANY more…), the “open transparency of your government” (which translated to: only the information we want you to have…), “I won’t raise your taxes ONE DIME!” (unless you make more than $250,000 per year, smoke, fill your car with gasoline, pay for electricity, or buy anything that was grown, shipped, or manufactured).
Lou Panetta: political "buddy" of Biden & Clinton...AND he was a lobbyist! Clearly a violation of the Obama "No Lobbyists" statement!
So….the winner of the # 1 moment of Political Nonsense of 2009 is…

    this is nonsense!

Sensible: You can't be serious! Elizabeth layed out all of the facts in the article and all you can do is claim it "nonsense?"
YOU lose. Just like the liberals destroying our American Freedoms will lose governors seats in 2010 and the White House in 2012.

At this point, I'm ready to vote Elizabeth into office! AND...there are a LOT more like ME out there. You need to research who shows up on election day. Houston's last election only drew 20% of registered voters. WE, the people....WILL show up in 2010 and 2012!

This part of the series makes sense. Elizabeth, your ideas are supported by Glen Beck's television show.
The president has good intentions, we can't take that away from him, but the Nobel Peace prize should be awarded to people like Mother Teresa!
I am very concerned about the economy and how it will affect my grandchildren. We need to keep children in mind as our country spends its way out of debt. The debt is just diverted, not erased.

    you've got issues lady!

This is the biggest division in our nation: race. Whites are still preaching the ultra-conservative schlock while minorites, fast becoming the majority in America, are voting liberal.
Unless you're planning on a Republican breed-a-thon, you should ease up on your anti-Socialism ideals.
