2009 Holiday shops (and more) at Bryant Park
If you're looking for something just a little different during the Holiday shopping season in Manhattan, look no further than the Holiday shops at Bryant Park. Opening on November 6, 2009 there will be approximately 120 temporary shops around Bryant Park featuring everything from Holiday crafts to food and drinks - something for nearly everyone!

Ice Staking at Bryant Park

Holiday in Bryant Park (Tree Lighting - December 1, 2009)
The annual Christmas tree lighting in Bryant Park will take place on December 1, 2009. This year's hosts are WCBS-TV New York newscasters Chris Wragge and Kristine Johnson along with Maurice Duboi and Kate Sullivan. The event will be televised (on December 1, 2009) and the tree lighting is open to the general public and it is free.
How to get to Bryant Park (Directions)
Bryant Park is situated behind the New York Public Library in midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
By Subway
Take the F, V, B, or D train to 42nd Street/Bryant Park or Take the 7 to 5th Avenue

There is always a complainer! Geez Diane! I'm sure a good majority of the shops that were there in 2008 will be there in 2009. I found the information very helpful. I've been trying to find out about the lighting ceremony and even on the Bryant Park website I didn't see it. So thanks for giving out that information. Some of us appreciate your efforts.

Just came home from a trip to NYC and found a lot of great, unique things at the shops at Bryant Park! I only wish that I had more time to shop even longer. I'm not sure if I'll be back to NYC during the holidays anytime in the future but if you go, absolutely take advantage of it!!
