The 43rd annual CMA Awards (CMA) took place in Nashville, Tennessee Wednesday night, and the search for red carpet photos has created an internet buzz.
There were live performances by Taylor Swift, Vince Gill and Daughtry, and the final CMA performance by Brooks & Dunn. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley hosted the Country Music Awards this year. Just a few of the bands and/or singers in attendance this year: Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire, Kid Rock, Miranda Lambert, Kelly Pickler, and Keith Urban.
Taylor Swift was nominated for Entertainer of the Year and was the only female up for the award this year; the male nominees include her co-host Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, and Keith Urban. Taylor Swift was also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year along with Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, and Reba McEntire. Scroll down for the red carpet slide show.
