The 2009 Cobalt SS turbo racing against a Toyota Supra on a track is an interesting race to watch. As the race continues, it's obvious the Supra and Cobalt are both pushing the cars to the limit. The exhausts warm up, and then the afterfire strikes! Huge flames due to extra rich conditions from the Supra expand three to six feet from behind the bumper. Shooting out towards the Cobalt, a fearless driver pursues the Supra only inches bumper to bumper.

- 260 hp / 260 tq
- 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds
- 1/4 mile in 14.0 @ 103 mph
The video below features the same specs, however the Cobalt is equipped with Nitto NT performance tires. These tires can really make a difference! You can watch the Cobalt driver taking advantage of the excellent handling as he digs the car into the corners. Front wheel drive vehicles when driven properly can be extremely corner happy. supra needs a driver mod
Whoever put that Honda badge on there wishes their puny little Civic had a factory waranteed turbo. lol . Whats a Mugen Si? Who cares, outa my lane! = )
