We all know how
Toyota has taken it
on the chin lately.
Recalls and cover
ups of recalls aside,
there are still some
good Toyotas out
there!

And why focus on
the topic of a used
Toyota Tacoma
truck? Well, in this
tough economy, you
might need a dependable

vehicle that can do some work but not break the bank. And what kind
of money are we talking? Depending on the engine choice, etc., about
$8,000-$10,000.

The two engine choices include a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder providing 150
horsepower and a 3.4-liter V6 making 190 hp. The fuel mileage on
the highway is 26 mpg for the 2.7 and 22 mpg for the 3.4 engine.

The extended cab model provides the option to transport a couple
more people or items such as groceries, etc. without having them
on the passenger seat floor or outside in the bed. The objective
with this truck is maximum usability, dependability and reasonable
fuel mileage.

The SR5 option package includes ABS brakes as well as Electronic
Brake Force Distribution that optimizes brake pressure to reduce the
truck’s stopping distance. Additionally, a tilt steering wheel with
adjustable headrests are included as well as air conditioning, power
steering, windows, and door locks.

The interior of the Tacoma is smaller than its competitors but it is
finished in good materials with the comfort of a Toyota car rather
than a truck.

The Tacoma rides on a double-wishbone coil-spring suspension up
front and leaf spring and staggered shocks at the rear. Thus, poor
roads or winter weather are no problem for the Tacoma.

The Tacoma’s 4WDemand system permits shifting into 4WD-high
at speeds up to 50 mph by using a floor-mounted transfer-case lever.
The Tacoma has good off road capabilities, however, because of its
compact size, its handling is nimble and provides a reasonable
ride on the highway.

The Tacoma was redesigned and updated for the 2005 model.
The 2004 model offers all the characteristic that have made
Toyota trucks successful over the years.

Be sure to seriously consider what this workhorse can do for you!
