2014 Grammy nominations are in, who's nominated?

The 2014 Grammy Award nominations were announced tonight (Dec. 6) during a live concert held in Los Angeles, Ca.

The concert marks the countdown to the Grammy Awards and is thus titled ‘The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! – Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night.’ The nominations held some surprises when the nominations were announced, and of course the usual expectations. There were also some nominations that will be a tough decision when it comes down to voting time for the committees.

This year marks the 56th annual Grammy Awards and the big night will be on Sunday, January 26, 2014.

In the "Best Country Solo Performance," husband and wife Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will be up against one another with Blake's "Mine Would Be You" and Miranda's "Mama's Broken Heart." The popular couple face the same situation for "Best Country Song" for the same two singles.

Taylor Swift scored nominations in both the country music genre and pop genre.
