Most people who are frustrated with Facebook or any other social media just quit. One 14-year-old girl is quitting for cash, according to a Feb. 6 report in the Daily Dot.
A business savvy teenager has come up with a quick way to make some cash. She has entered into a business contract with her father to receive a $200 payment for staying off Facebook. Under the terms of the contract, which is posted on the dad’s blog, the daughter has agreed to shut down her Facebook page and turn over the password to her dad to prevent her from reopening the account.
The dad, Paul Baier signed the contract for a two part payment of $50 and $150. According to Baier, the plan was his daughter’s idea. “It was her idea,” Baier told the Daily Dot. “She wants to earn money and also finds Facebook a distraction and a waste of time sometimes. She plans to go back on after the 6 months is over.”
