It doesn't get much better than 200 creative vendors under one roof in one location! Jennifer Cerf, owner of Eclectic NW says, "My vision is to open a retail outlet for local entrepreneurs (craftsmen, women, artisans) where they can thrive together as a community, supporting each other, and bring products from all over Oregon and SW Washington to consumers under one roof. Our goal is to be fair and reasonable with our vendors, help them make a living doing what they love, and to share their amazing creations with our customers."

In just 2 months time, Eclectic NW has gone from an idea to the grand opening coming up on June 1, featuring 200 local business vendors. Vendors and small business owners, many of them who have already had much success on Etsy, are selling their items in this store. The owner also states, "We keep the monthly rates very low ($10 per vendor) for all our vendors and only take a 15% commission on items sold in the store."

Many of the items in the store are wedding, bridal shower, party, event related. Brides will swoon over all the decor items, favors, and even bridal fashion. Plus, there will be a bridal and shower registry following soon after the opening! Oregon and SW Washington brides should definitely attend the sneak peek event on May 30!

Kate Miles, who is one of the vendors, is a 14-year-old fashion designer that has already had her designs at New York Fashion Week! She is known for her wedding dresses, so make sure to check out her designs if you're a bride. Oregon brides will love her style as it's not your typical "cookie-cutter" type of dresses.

Whether you need decor for your wedding reception or still haven't found your wedding dress; you're going to want to experience this shopping excursion with all your closest friends. Don't come alone, bring a friend and shop local for your wedding.

There is a special sneak peek event on May 30 from 3-7pm open to the public. Expect to see products from 200 local vendors, product demos, samples of local food and beverages, vendor presentations, raffles, a fashion show, mini DIY classes, door prizes, mini makeovers, and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Salem Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $5 and $25 for VIP tickets, you can purchase at https://eclecticnw.eventbrite.com. Ticket sales help support the continued sales and marketing efforts for Eclectic NW and helps keep costs low for our vendors.
