Inmate tries to hire hit man to kill his accusers
A Pontiac man was charged earlier this year with solicitation of murder for trying to hire a fellow inmate to kill his accusers in a sex case.
The Sentinel-Standard of Ionia reported that William Kilborn, 20, was ruled competent to stand trial in the sex case this week.
According to authorities, Kilborn was arrested in November on charges of conspiracy to commit criminal sexual conduct and using a computer to commit a crime.
Authorities say in January, Kilborn tried to get another inmate in the jail to find the girls, make them write letters retracting their accusations and then kill them.
