There are two great events this week in Tampa Bay.
First up is the monthly Ash Wednesday event. Ash Wednesday is held on the first Wednesday of the month and was started by local entrepreneur Angye Fox. The popular event was consistently held at the Fox Jazz Café in Tampa. This year, while the format stays the same, the event will be going on the road. Each month, the event will be held at a different cigar shop around the Tampa Bay area.
Ash Wednesday is always sponsored by a different cigar manufacturer who donates cigars for the attendees to sample. Sometimes there are other cigar related items or wine that is raffled off to the group.
This Wednesday, February 6th, Ash Wednesday will be held at Smokers Den in Clearwater. The featured cigar manufacturer will be Drew Estate. Morgan and Leslie of Smokers Den will be providing light appetizers with free beer and wine. There will also be raffle prizes and specials on box and single cigar sales.
The Ash Wednesday event is a great way to network with local folks or just to go out and have a good time with friends for a few hours.
