Two men allegedly raped a missing teenager earlier this month at an apartment complex in Dalton – and on Thursday police were still searching for one of the suspects.

They are asking for the public's help in finding the 21-year-old man.

Carl Edward Belgon is wanted for child molestation and statutory rape in the alleged incident that happened on April 9, according to Dalton police. A second suspect, 24-year-old Anthony Deparrish Quinn, of 3258 Rauschenberg Road in Dalton, was arrested the next day on similar charges, police spokesman Bruce Frazier said in a news release on Wednesday.

The teenage girl, who was reported missing after she did not return home from school, showed up later that same evening and reported that she had engaged in sex acts with two men in an apartment at the Chalet Valley Apartments, Frazier said.

The teen, whose age has not been released, identified the men who allegedly molested her as Belgon and Quinn, police said. They have not released any details on how the teen know the men or the circumstances that led to her being with them at the apartment complex that day. It's also unclear how long the teen was with the men.

On the day of Quinn’s arrest, police issued warrants for Belgon and have been searching for him ever since, Frazier said. Belgon’s last known address is 122 Denali Drive in Calhoun, he said.

Anyone with information regarding Belgon’s whereabouts is asked to please contact Detective Scott Murray at (706) 278-9085, ext. 148.
