July 21, 2012. Tampa. There are two new contests to enter for liberty-minded voters and activists. One promotion awards points for video submissions and will distribute cash prizes at the event’s conclusion. The other is more of a sweepstakes where winners can win liberty-themed prizes centering on the upcoming Paul Festival in Tampa, Florida next month. Here are the details.
Paul Festival Ticket-Prize Give-a-way
On August 24-26, 2012, supporters of Texas Congressman Ron Paul and the liberty movement will gather in Tampa, Florida for a historic, three-day music and political celebration. According to the festival’s website, the event has two basic purposes – to show thanks and appreciation to Rep. Ron Paul, and to show the liberty movement who and what it’s become thanks to Rep. Paul’s efforts.
The event is shaping up to be one of the largest and most popular liberty events in recent memory. Speakers include Libertarian Party Presidential candidate Gary Johnson, economist Peter Schiff, 2nd Amendment advocate Larry Pratt and many more. Musical performances will include the well-known local band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Detroit’s REBEL Inc., Nashville’s Look What I did, the liberty movement’s own Tatiana Moroz, and more.
Contest details
In an email announcement yesterday, Gigi Bowman, President and founder of Liberty-Candidates.com, calls it the, “Paul Festival Ticket-Prize Give-a-way!” Organizers explain, “Everyone who buys a ticket or ‘Ronvoy’ package gets entered into our drawing for great prizes from the speakers, musicians, vendors, sponsors and friends of Paulfest!”
The prize pool continues to grow as festival sponsors donate more and more items to give away. Just a brief sampling of prizes includes a personally autographed book featuring a number of the event’s well-known speakers, signed by them personally. Free tickets to an upcoming liberty event in NYC is another prize. The most tempting prize Paul Festival attendees can win, in this author’s eyes anyway, is a ‘Skype date’ with the beautiful and talented singer Tatiana Moroz, along with an autographed CD and poster package.
Event organizers did not give any additional details, only that prizes will continue to be added. With more than a month before the much anticipated Paul Festival, new advertisers are still being encouraged to sign-on.

WeRock.TV Video Contest
The second liberty-related contest currently going on is being administered by a video website called, ‘WeRock.TV’. The promotion is a point-based contest that features a number of cash prizes and encourages video entries that pertain to or promote the liberty movement.
According to the contest web page, its promoters explain, “We are looking for online personalities who are seriously committed to the cause of liberty. We are interested in video submissions, so that’s the most effective method to earn points. Don’t spam social media sites. Don’t be insolent in your remarks. The contest is based on a point system for ‘videos’, ‘likes’, ‘tweets’, ‘comments’ and ‘emails’. Spamming is automatically prohibited.”
While the site’s facilitators don’t include a contest end date, they do list the following prizes:
- 1st Place - $250 cash (1 winner)
- 2nd Place - $100 cash (1 winner)
- 3rd Place - $50 cash (2 winners)
As the site announces, “WeRock.TV needs content and we pay cash! Enter our contest and earn money while you help spread the message of liberty.”
