The CS Monitor reported on April 6, 2013, that two people were killed in a shooting at a daycare in Gatineau, Canada on Friday.

Reportedly, a man a shotgun killed an employee with a shotgun at a daycare center in Quebec and then killed himself.

All the 53 children present at the daycare were unharmed and the Police carried them to the waiting parents and later they were shifted to a nearby house.

The Police were called at around 10:30 a.m. and when they arrived they saw one man dead and a second man, an unidentified employee of the day care, also dead. Click here to watch video.

The Associated Press quoted Gatineau Police Chief Mario Harel as saying that the children witnessed the killings. Harel said, "It's a small area, it's a close space. For sure, they should have been witness (to) the event."

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation revealed the shooter was in a relationship with the employee of the daycare and the second man was the director's new partner.

The Canada deadly school shooting last year is still fresh in the minds of people in which 20 young children were killed.
