2 boys photobombed by shark

A typical day at the beach was anything but when a shark photobombed two young boys reported the Huffington Post on December 29, 2013.

Quinn Emerson, 12, and his friend were taking advantage of the warm weather and surfing at Manhattan Beach in California. Quinn’s mother, June, snapped a photo of the boys, not realizing the boys had been photobombed by what appears to be a shark.

June Emerson was reviewing the photos on the drive home when she noticed the shark-like figure in the wave behind the boys.

"It was quite a shock to see," she told KTLA. "Many local surfers and lifeguards have seen this and believe it to be a shark. Of course, I told my kids it was dolphin, as we live at the beach and are in the waters here almost daily."

“I’m not sure what it was,” she told CBS2/KCAL9, “but it definitely scared me when I thought it might be a shark.”

Not wanting to scare the boys, she told them it was a dolphin.
