A woman robbed two banks in 15 minutes, according to a Feb. 4 NBC Washington report. The northwest Washington D.C. banks were robbed in under 20 minutes, and police believe the same person is responsible for the robberies.
The woman who robbed two banks in 15 minutes is described as having dark hair. In addition, she was wearing dark clothing and a puffy black jacket, so it was hard to see her size. She also had something odd on her nose or lip. Police believe it was a bandage.
The banks the woman robbed were the PNC Bank in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue NW and the Bank of America in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue NW. At the first bank, the woman handed over a note, and at the second bank, she claimed to have a gun. At both banks, she fled on foot with money.
Even though she claimed to have a gun, the woman did not show a weapon at either bank. Nobody was injured in the robberies.
