This year's Photography Series, A Year of Faces and Places in Photography, features both people and places from Astoria, Oregon, the Northwest Oregon Coast, and the Lower Columbia River (Washington and Oregon). Each day will feature a different place and different people who make the Pacific Northwest Coast their home.
A rare moment for Coffee Girls, Alexa Jillian and Renee Meiffrein, as they take a much-earned break. Both women work at Coffee Girl Cafe on Pier 39 in Astoria. Renee a classically trained and world class ballerina, teaches Ballet in Astoria and is working on a Master's degree at OSU. Alexa works at Beach Books in Seaside.
