The Sedona Gallery Association and Jerome Art Walk present “Make a Weekend of It on 1st Weekend: Sedona/Jerome”

From 5-8 pm on 1st Friday (October 1) at Sedona’s top galleries and 1st Saturday (October 2) at Jerome’s famous galleries and artist studios, this singular area explodes with art. In Sedona, the Trolley transports art lovers to all the galleries. And, in Jerome, Walk the Walk with map in hand or make use of the free shuttle. Enjoy openings, entertainment, refreshments, and one of the nations most vibrant art scenes amidst the red rocks and soaring views of the Verde Valley.

Now is a great time for a drive to Sedona - and you're in for a huge treat! Construction is finally over and S.R. 179 is now a wide new road that winds through the gorgeous red rocks and leads you right through Sedona's exciting and revitalized Gallery District. Pedestrians walk wide sidewalks past Hillside, Hozho, Tlaquepaque, and all the other fine galleries, right up to S.R. 89A; a pedestrian bridge, with a postcard red rock view over Oak Creek adds to the ease and pleasure. Sedona's art scene has never looked better.

Continue on the next day to the mile high town of Jerome, filled with history and art, delightful restaurants and lovely lodging. The art scene is wide and varied, contemporary to traditional and all of it unique and one of a kind
