Now that the main human cast has been assembled, filming on The Muppets sequel has gotten underway in London. So far they've done a pretty good job of keeping story details under wraps, with the only thing leaking out that it was a European-set crime caper of some sort. Well, EW was on set for the initial days of shooting, and not only have they revealed further plot details and the first photo and but now we can finally put a name to Kermit and the gang's next adventure.
Titled The Muppets....Again!, the story "finds the Muppet repertory company enjoying a triumphant world tour, only to become tangled up with a criminal mastermind named Constantine, who is out to steal an enormous diamond—and who happens to be a dead ringer for Kermit." So Kermit has an evil doppelganger, eh? Who wants to wager there will be some romantic confusion involving Miss Piggy? This sounds an awful lot like The Great Muppet Caper, which was set in London and involved the ginormous Baseball Diamond. If they use it for batting practice again I'm going to cry foul.
