Scottsdale held it’s very first over 40 female Networking Luncheon and Model Search in January. After hearing so much buzz about this awesome event, I decided to sit down and talk with my friend, Gail E McCauley President of Arizona Model and Actor Management for the inside scoop!
Gail says she was so honored to host such a wonderful event. When Judy Gross, of Over 40 Females, approached Gail with the idea of partnering for this networking lunch, Gail was more than delighted. With Gail’s untapped market for talented females over 40, she simply felt this was the best idea to bring beauty and business into a small group atmosphere where women could meet, share and network.
This spectacular event was held on the patio dining at Metro Brasserie in Scottsdale, AZ. It was well attended by 35 women which included women of all ages, including a beautiful 12 year old who aspires to have a career as an actress/radio DJ. The women in attendance consisted of budding actresses/models to entrepreneurs experienced to beginners, a nurse, psychologist, fashion designers and even unemployed women looking to start a journey toward new careers.
The event provided invaluable speakers, Monica Samuels, bathing suit designer and Founder of Monique Fagre, Laura Cardenas, Artesenia Jewelry and Sylvia Hardt, Sylvia Hardt Photography as well as mini boutiques which offered products as lovely raffle prizes. Models from Arizona Model and Actor Management, Ellen Scott and Miwa Williams, were in attendance modeling designs by Artensia Jewelry.
Judy Gross began Over 40 Females with the mission to connect a community of women 40 years of age and over for the purpose of learning more about life through interaction with each other and professional experts in their fields, to increase awareness for our demographic on an international scale and create a higher standard of pride and confidence for the generations of Over 40 Females. Judy Gross, being the founder of Over 40 Females, is a TV host, author, former More Magazine Editor and Mom of twin girls.
Gail McCauley is President and Founder of Arizona Model and Actor Management, which is a licensed boutique model and talent agency serving all of AZ, where passion, quality and integrity counts, working with ages 5 and up in areas of modeling, acting, and voice over.
For now, Gail says she does plan to have future networking events combined with model searches which will be targeted to specific audiences, i.e. children/teens, women over 30, etc, however you’ll just have to tune in at Arizona Model and Actor Management facebook fan page for announcements of these future events. I just hope I keep the inside track on these spectacular events.
