$1M in pot on beach: No suspects in bizarre discovery

It certainly is not every day that $1 million in pot is on a beach, but that's exactly what was found Thursday afternoon near the Vandenberg Air Force Base. The Santa Maria Times shared the details on March 7, and it seems this one is quite mind-boggling.

An overturned 20-foot aluminum boat was found with $1 million in pot, both on the beach. A search of the area was immediately started, but no weapons or suspects were found. It has been determined that there is no threat to the community or base.

As for what happened and how the $1 million in pot ended up on the beach, nobody seems to know that at this point. The marijuana was in large bags and then camouflaged with brush. The boat may have landed on the beach as early as Wednesday, and investigators are still working on piecing together the details.

There is one thing for certain, and that is that there is someone out there not very happy about not receiving the enormous marijuana delivery they were expecting. Chances are good that there is also someone feeling a large amount of panic over losing the $1 million of pot left on the beach.
