$1M of pot on beach: Piles of weed hidden in sand, says strange news report

Over $1M of pot on beach is making strange news headlines this weekend, as News Hill reported this Friday, March 8, that an estimated $1 million worth of marijuana was recently found this Thursday near a boat that had washed ashore near the Vandenberg Air Force Base.

With the headline, “$1M of pot on beach”, sources report that Homeland Security quickly stepped in after over $1 million of weed was found hidden in the sand close by the crashed boat. Officials removed piles and piles of pot from the sand, which were covered in brush and bags, in what appeared to be a last-ditch attempt to hide the marijuana from the public eye.

Although officials initially were reported to be searching for suspects involved with the matter following the $1M of pot on beach headline, Homeland Security has released a statement that no news is yet known about any connections with the hidden pot or the damaged boat. No details or information have been unveiled yet either on the source behind the mounds of marijuana. All that has been said so far is:

"The overturned boat’s engine had been removed, but authorities weren’t positive whether it was taken off on purpose or came off when the boat crashed ashore”, said the report.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
