The No. 19-ranked men's basketball team in the country, the Saint Louis University Billikens, will look to finish off a well-deserved week home the right way, when it takes on the struggling George Mason Patriots, Saturday afternoon at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.

SLU, the defending Atlantic 10 Conference regular season and tournament champions, are atop the league standings again with an unblemished 6-0 mark in conference play and a sterling 19-2 overall record this season, which is tied for the best record in program history through 21 games.

No SLU team has ever been 20-2, so a victory on Saturday will be a historic one for the Billikens.

SLU also boasts a 13-game winning streak, with its only losses this season coming back in November and December, to current national No. 4 Wichita State and No. 14 Wisconsin.

In its last outing, Wednesday night against Richmond, the Billikens dominated the visiting Spiders for a 77-57 victory, which was highlighted by SLU holding the Richmond to a season-low 31.7 percent shooting from the field.

Seniors Jordair Jett and Dwayne Evans led the way for the Billikens, by both posting double-doubles.

Jett had 21 points and a career-high 10 rebounds, while Evans added 15 points and 10 rebounds of his own.
