Jennifer Garner, Juliana Margulies, and Katrina Bowden were among my top picks on the list of best dressed for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Each of these women gave their Hollywood peers a run for their money as they displayed red carpet elegance at last nights festivities.
Garner’s strapless gold sequined gown by Oscar de la Renta was a bona fide winner and reserved her spot for the best dressed for the night. The Good Wife star Juliana Marguilies also shined in a two toned number by Chado Ralph Rucci. Her choice of standout Louboutin ‘Zigouwi’ sandals and vintage styled beehive hairdo completed the look.
30 Rock Actress Katrina Bowden looked simply ravishing in a pastel Badgley Mischka number and she was accompanied on a list of lovely dresses worn by Naomi Watts, Teyonnah Parris and Guiliana Rancic to name a few.
The 2013 SAG awards, which took place at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA typically has a habit of bringing out the best on the red carpet during award season but last night there was a rather fair shake of worst dress that was rather disappointing and mildly upsetting.
Despite the raving reviews and heightened popularity for Jennifer Lawrence’s chosen dress her overall look was not enough to ensure her spot on the list. The Chrisitan Dior dress on its own is a stunning vision of blue, however, on Lawrence it fizzles.
Lawrence was the big winner of the night receiving the best Actress award in addition to garnering most of the spotlight partially due to a minor wardrobe malfunction she experienced mid way through the ceremony.
Aside from her wardrobe blues (pun not intended) blue appeared to be the color of the night , as Actresses Amanda Seyfried, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Giuliana Rancic, Edie Falco and Mayim Bialik were all spotted donning blue frocks.
From blue to red hot here are the 10 red hot looks of the 2013 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards (slideshow).
