For Christian writers in northern California, the 19th Annual Christian Writers Seminar coming up on February 17 and 18 is a can't-miss event. Taking place at Redwood Chapel in Castro Valley, the two-day event promises to be educational, entertaining, and informational for all Christian writers no matter what genre their work is categorized in. James Watkins, author and acquisitions editor for Wesleyan Publishing House, will be the guest speaker.
Attendees to the conference will have the opportunity to attend four differnet workshops dealing with such topics as Creating Belief and Truth in Fiction, Spinning Articles for the Market, Clues to Writing for Children, and Words That Sing Your Voice. Workshops will be led by such experts in the field of Christian writing as novelist Cindy Martinusen Columa, journalist and creative writing teacher Pamela Erickson, and attorney and author of tween novels Rick Acker.
Registeration by February 10 includes a discount, a free CD, attendance to full seminar and four workshops, and lunch on Saturday. The seminars theme for 2012 is Communicate to Change Lives.
