August 24, 2010 -- The Duggar family on tonight's episode have a serious case of chicken pox to the 12th power. In the ongoing series of '19 Kids & Counting' Jim Bob and Michelle as well as the kids have to live apart while the majority of the family battles chicken pox. 12 of the children have chicken pox and the kids seem pretty miserable.
We know that families sometimes get the flu at the same time and maybe even the chicken pox, but having 12 kids have it all at the same time had to be difficult. What made it even more challenging was little Josie who had to be kept away. Being the child is a preemie, the even slightest issues of illness could really cause health concerns for the child. Leaving no choice, Michelle and Jim Bob were forced to live apart with Michelle taking care of Josie until the rest of the children got over their illness.
As you will see in tonight's episode, it doesn't seem to phase the Duggar's with all the challenges that are put in front of them. Instead they seem to take everything and keep right on going. While parenting can be tough, little to no struggle can be seen on the faces of these parents forced to deal with pox and parenting.
