’19 Kids and Counting’ star Jessa Duggar wants a lot of kids with Ben Seewald

Two weeks after her official courtship to Ben Seewald played out on her family’s TLC reality show, “19 Kids and Counting” star Jessa Duggar is talking about what the future holds. And not-so-surprisingly, that future may include a big brood of her own.

In an interview posted on Saturday by People magazine, the 21-year-old daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar revealed that things are “going great” in her relationship with Seewald, despite the fact that he lives nearly four hours away from her family’s Arkansas home.

The conservative young Christian couple communicates via Skype, FaceTime, text message, and the old fashioned letter-writing and phone call way, so they’ve had plenty of opportunities to talk about their future life together. "We both want to have a big family,” Jessa revealed to the magazine. “We are talking about our goals and the future with family. We have both talked about adoption and want to adopt, too."

But Jessa’s not the only Duggar daughter who has spewing big time baby talk. Earlier his week, her sister Jill Duggar -- who recently entered a courtship with 25-year-old Derick Dillard -- told ABC News that she and her beau also want a large family. "Both of us want as many kids as God will give us and we've talked about adoption," Jill said. "My parents have kept popping them out so we'll see how [our] fertility is!"

Of course, love and marriage will come before any type of baby carriage. In an interview with Today.com, Jim Bob Duggar said that his daughters and their suitors set their own relationship boundaries, and they’ve chosen to take things slow as they prepare for marriage. For Jessa and Ben there’s no hand holding until they’re officially engaged, no kissing until marriage, and all texts are monitored by Jim Bob and Michelle. While all of their outings are chaperoned, the couple does hug when greeting each other and they chat privately on the phone each night.

According to Michelle Duggar, courting is much different than regular dating and it has a lot to do with future children: “It’s really examining the person and considering, ‘Would this be the guy I want to be the father of my kids?’” the mom of 19 said.

“19 Kids and Counting” airs on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. ET on TLC.
