The 18th annual San Antonio Film Festival has been expanded to seven days with additional screening locations, thanks to San Antonio’s Santikos Theatres. The festival will be held June 18-24, 2012.
“Our new home is the Santikos Theaters,” said Festival Director and Founder Adam Rocha. The theaters will include the Palladium, the Bijou and the Rialto theaters. The Instituto Cultura de Mexico and the Pearl Brewery also will host two days of free screenings.
Rocha added that he is enthusiastic about the amount of entries so far, which he indicated were three times as many as this time last year. The deadline for entries is Feb. 24 with a fee of $40, and the late deadline is March 23 at $60.
