The German American Chamber of Commerce – Colorado Chapter (GACC – CC) will hold its 18th Annual Biergarten Festival at the TEV Edelweiss grounds in Morrison, Colorado Friday, July 11th through Sunday, July 13th. The weekend celebration will showcase German musicians, German food, and, of course, German beer.
The mid-summer, family-friendly festival is as authentic as they come with dirndls and lederhosen the norm, not the exception. With the German language spoken nearly as often (if not more so) than English. With oompah bands, polka dancing, and Schuhplattler. Indeed, perhaps the only indication that attendees are not actually in the Old World is the majestic red rock and mountain meadow surroundings of the festival grounds.
Stop by the Biergarten Festival, toss back a few steins of fine, European lager, compete in a bratwurst-eating contest, slap some thighs to lively Rhineland music, and have a jolly, German good time!
