The Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts (JFFA) happens every year on Memorial Day weekend. This year’s Festival takes place May 22-25, 2009, and features more than 125 music, dance and theater performances from around the world.
In addition to a street fair, there are also musical workshops, art displays, and activities for children. For details see lists of the Performers and the Stages on the Festival website.
Four-day passes can be purchased at the festival, online at NWPerformingArts.com, and at a few other physical locations. Four-day passes are $45 for General Admission, or $40 for Members, Students & Seniors. Daily wristbands are available at the main festival venues and are $14.00 for General Admission, or $13.00 for Members, Students & Seniors. Children12 and under are free every day. (Also, on Monday high school and full-time college students are $7 with student ID.)

SR 104 - Hood Canal Bridge 2009 Closure
"The Hood Canal Bridge closed May 1, 2009,
for six weeks to allow crews to replace the east
half of the bridge and the east and west trusses."
