16 & Pregnant fans rejoice! While the show has not yet been picked up for a fifth season after wrapping season 4 nearly one year ago, there is more of the girls on the way in the form of a Where Are They Now? special. However, not everyone is being invited.
The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported on February 15 that two girls, one from season 1 and one from season 3, have confirmed that MTV has contacted them about being part of the upcoming 16 & Pregnant: Where Are They Now? special. The site also claims that several former starts have also confirmed that they are not yet part of the special. So, for now it is unclear who exactly will be a part of the show and who won't but it seems to be safe to assume that not all of the girls will back and considering how many girls have been on the show in it's four seasons, that's not surprising.
So far, MTV has yet to comment on the show but since it's looking like there won't be another full season, it seems like the perfect way to end the series. With the fourth season of Teen Mom 2 beginning to air next week and the first season of Teen Mom 3 having yet to get an air date, fans likely won't be seeing 16 & Pregnant's possible last episode until late this year. Plus, they still have to film it and from filming to air date on MTV is typically at least 6 months behind -- if not a full year.
