Old Town Spring will host one of the largest wine exhibitions and tasting events in Houston at the 15th Annual SpringFest Wine and Art Festival this weekend, March 23-24, bringing local wineries, original art, Go Texan food vendors, live entertainment and more.
Representatives from each winery will be available to discuss wines that are ready to purchase. Participating wineries include Bernhardt Winery, Braman Winery, Cap Rock Winery, Dionisio Winery, Fall Creek Vineyards, Haak Vineyards, Landon Winery, Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards, McReynold Wines, Piney Woods Winery, Red 55 Winery and Wimberely Valley Wines.
Entertainment is provided by Joshua Messick and Paco and the Boys on Saturday and the Jazz Connection and Paco and the Boys on Sunday. The event is open to all ages and is a family-friendly event. Rain or Shine. Hours are Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is FREE on Saturday & Sunday to view the original art and Go Texan vendors. Wine tasting tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate. Price includes a commemorative wine glass and 5 tastings with additional tastings available for 1 ticket. A glass of wine is available for 4 tickets. Each ticket cost $1. Proceeds will benefit the Spring Preservation League, a non-profit foundation which is dedicated to the preservation and beautification of Old Town Spring and numerous community projects and service organizations.
The 15th Annual SpringFest Wine and Art Festival was created in 1998 in order to showcase local Texas wineries and artists and merchants in Old Town Spring located at 130 Spring School Road in Spring.
