Some of the events are FREE and kid friendly!
Others hold a ticket price as high as $55 a person and might be a little too racy for your young ones. As parents, you want to expose your children to culture and new experiences, preferably special events that are neither too pricey nor too spicy!
Because “The Philly Fringe is an unfiltered festival, where a platform is provided for new and established artists to present their work free of a selection process”, it’s good to do a little research before you explore “the world's most cutting-edge, high-quality performing arts groups” with your kids.
You and your family don’t have to miss out on theater, dance, music and other art forms that the 15th Annual Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe have to offer.

This FREE event is opposite the Race Street Pier and inside a former pumping station. You’ll discover inside, “a house of screens some 20 feet high and wide, which you walk around looking at films of dancers performing in their homes—in bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, under and above their furniture, by their windows, playing with notions of what home life means to them.”
