15 upcoming video games to look forward to in 2014

It's a new year for video games! January is pretty light for game releases aside from a few downloadable titles like Broken Age, or the re-release of Tomb Raider on PS4 and Xbox One. However, once February arrives, the game launches start to get exciting. Here are fifteen games in 2014 to get pumped for.

  • South Park The Stick of Truth: Stick of Truthfully…this game probably isn’t going to come out in March, but if it does, it looks like a thoughtful take on the show. (PC/PS3/X360)
  • Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z: The Ninja Gaiden series has never interested this guy, but then again he’s a sucker for cel-shaded graphics and cheesy stories so this may do the trick. (PC/PS3/X360)
  • Dark Souls 2: The sequel to one of the most hardcore gaming series of all time should prove interesting. (PC/PS3/X360)
  • Titanfall: This “Modern Mechfare” may be the thing to push anyone to buy the Xbox One. (X360/XBO)
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster: Two awesome Final fantasy games re-released in HD with enchantments and trophies…yes! (PS3/PSVita)
  • Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes: New Metal Gear, need this writer say more? (PS3/PS4/X360/XBO)
  • Infamous Second Son: The Infamous series is the best thing to happen to open world games since GTA3 and this one looks more fantastic than the previous two. (PS4)
  • The Witch and the Hundred Knight: This is probably the underdog of the entire list, but NIS has had a good track record on RPGs lately. (PS3)
