iPhone Travel Apps: Yelp!

Planning a weekend trip? Family vacation? Flying to Europe for the week? Going to Boston on business? No matter your travel needs, there's a bundle of iPhone travel apps waiting to meet them. These cheap (and in most cases free) apps can be a real life saver on a trip, whether you are just going camping for the weekend or traveling cross country with the family.

  1. Travelocity. The all-in-one airport / hotel / car rental tool, you'll be able to book your travel arrangements, view your itinerary, check flight status and even find a hotel near you using GPS, view it using hotel photos and see what other traveler's had to say about it. Price: Free.
  2. Gate Maps. Okay, so you've got everything arranged and you are ready to fly out, but now you have to navigate through the chaos of an airport seemingly designed just to confuse you.
