Did you know? Baltimore’s annual parade honors the endless contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
What: You’re invited to join Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and Office of Civil Rights and Wage Enforcement for the 14th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade presented by Forman Mills.
Did you know? MLK celebration for the late civil rights activist in Baltimore features entertaining high school and community marching bands, decorative floats, civic organizations, high-stepping fraternities, honor and color guards, lively cheer-leading squads and equestrian units.
Who: Open to general public whereas, spectators can view the entertainment from various locations along the parade route, including near the reviewing stand at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Franklin Street.
When: Monday, January 20, 2014 starts at 12 p.m.
Where: Baltimore’s annual procession steps off at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Eutaw Street, proceeds south on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and disbands at Baltimore Street.
